Konstantinos Vlachopoulos is a seasoned researcher and communications officer with a focus on migration and integration policies. As a current member of the Greek Council for Refugees and the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy, Konstantinos conducts research on refugee integration in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and has contributed to various projects related to governance and migration. Since 2014, Konstantinos has been pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Glasgow, exploring the desecuritization of migration in Greece. Additionally, Konstantinos has held teaching roles at several universities, including the University of California and the University of Strathclyde, and has previous consultancy experience with the Migration Policy Group and other organizations. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Politics from the University of Glasgow, an MSc in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh, and a BS in Public Administration from Panteion University.

The Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) is an independent, non-governmental, nonprofit think tank, established in Athens, Greece, in 1988.
