Peter C. DeMuth, Ph.D. has held a variety of roles in the scientific research field. From 2013-present, they have served as Chief Scientific Officer, Vice President of Research, Research Director, and Senior Scientist and Project Manager at Elicio Therapeutics. From 2008-2009, they were a PhD Candidate in Vaccine Research and Development at MIT, where they were a Quadrant International Award Winner for Polymer Engineering and led the development and testing of transcutaneous vaccine delivery platforms. Peter C. was also a NIH Research Fellow at MIT, Novartis, Whitehead Institute, and the University of Maryland from 2008-2009, 2009, 2009, and 2006-2008, respectively. At the University of Maryland, they also held the role of Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellow.

Peter C. DeMuth, Ph.D. began their education in 2004 at the University of Maryland, where they earned a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and a B.S. in Biochemistry by 2008. Peter C. then continued their education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Biological Engineering in 2013.
