Joel Sheltrown

Joel Sheltrown has had a long and distinguished career in government and public affairs. Joel currently serves as the Vice President of Governmental Affairs for Kapeesh, and is a Board Member of the National Board of Advisors for Democrats For Life of America. From 2011 to 2019, Sheltrown was the Vice President of Governmental Affairs for Elio Motors, Inc. From 2009 to 2011, they were the President of Northeast Michigan Future, Inc., a non-profit organization they founded to promote economic development of the 13 counties in northeast Michigan. From 2008 to 2009, Sheltrown was the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Michigan Coalition of Responsible Gun Owners. From 2005 to 2006, they served as the State Representative for the 103rd House District of the Michigan House of Representatives. Joel also served as the Chair of the Tourism, Outdoor Recreation and Natural Resources Committee, which was responsible for oversight of most of the natural resources of the State of Michigan.

Joel Sheltrown attended Western Michigan University and Kirtland Community College, though no degree or field of study was specified.
