Julie Foss is an experienced professional in the field of clinical psychology and social work, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Child and Family Services for Eliot Community Human Services since June 2013. Julie has held various roles, including Clinical Supervisor for Trauma-Based Services, where responsibilities involved supervising clinicians, providing therapy, and developing trauma treatment curricula. Julie also led projects such as the Adjunctive EMDR Program and supervised the ARC clinical trial. In addition to a private practice role since February 2020, Julie has contributed to academia through teaching courses on trauma and resilience at both Boston College and Boston University. Prior professional experience includes significant leadership roles in finance and development at the Boston Children’s Foundation and the Life is good kids foundation. Julie holds multiple degrees from Boston College, including a Master's in Clinical/Medical Social Work and an MBA, along with a Bachelor's in Psychology and Management from Regis College.
