Andrew Thompson

Andrew Thompson is an accomplished General Manager with extensive experience in operational management and improvements across diverse industries. Currently, Andrew leads operations at ELIS, overseeing all aspects of profit and loss, sales, customer service, and logistics since February 2017. Previously, Andrew served as Group Operational Improvements Manager at Aliaxis Group, enhancing global manufacturing performance and introducing key performance indicators. In the role at Mondi Packaging, Andrew successfully implemented lean manufacturing practices, resulting in significant financial turnaround and awards for operational excellence. Andrew's career also includes a tenure as Plant Director at MECAPLAST Group, where full autonomy over site operations was maintained. Andrew holds an MBA from Durham University Business School and an IIM in Management studies from Durham New College.
