Olli-Pekka Nokkonen

Olli-Pekka Nokkonen has extensive work experience in various roles at different companies. Olli-Pekka started their career at Elisa in 2009, where they worked as a Telesales representative during holidays and free time. Olli-Pekka then joined the Finnish Defence Forces as a Second Lieutenant from 2011 to 2012. After that, they had sales roles at Offmic Oy, Osmotex Oy, and Barona, where they worked as a B2B Sales Agent, Salesman, and Team Leader, respectively.

Returning to Elisa, Nokkonen held several positions, including Team Leader of a stand sales group and Development Manager. Olli-Pekka also worked as a Business Coach, supporting leaders and managers in adopting new daily management practices. Later in their career at Elisa, they served as Head of Business Development, Director of Smart Living Business, and Director of Consumer Electronics Business, playing a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities and partnerships, launching new services, and driving growth in various areas.

Apart from their work at Elisa, Nokkonen was also a Board Member of As Oy Vantaan Ilolan Sävel, where they focused on financial management and decision-making for the condominium. Olli-Pekka contributed to the financial well-being of the condominium by overseeing maintenance renovations, improving health classifications, and implementing e-vehicle charging infrastructure.

Olli-Pekka Nokkonen has a diverse education history. Olli-Pekka completed their Executive MBA at Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Häme University of Applied Sciences, HAMK, specializing in the Degree Programme in Business Administration, from 2017 to 2018. Olli-Pekka also holds a Specialist Qualification in Management from the Management Institute of Finland, achieved from 2016 to 2017, with a focus on matrix management.

In terms of their secondary education, Olli-Pekka Nokkonen received their high school certificate, known as the Ylioppilas, from Mikkelin Lyseon lukio in 2010.

Alongside their formal education, Olli-Pekka Nokkonen has pursued additional certifications. Olli-Pekka completed the Aalto EMBA Transformational Leadership Program at Yale, offered by the Yale School of Management, in April 2023. Olli-Pekka also obtained a Kata Coach Certification from Elisa in February 2019. Furthermore, Olli-Pekka Nokkonen received certifications in "The Elements of Service Design & Customer Experience" from Effisio Oy in February 2019 and in Google AdWords Mobile from Google, Social Marketing Tools, in February 2018.
