Avoy Datta

Machine Learning Engineer at EliseAI

Avoy Datta's work experience includes various roles in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. In 2017, Avoy worked as a research intern in the Department of Physics at Stanford University. In 2018, Avoy had two internships - one as a research intern at the Wireless Systems Laboratory, where they developed deep autoencoders for improving wireless text transmissions, and another as a section leader at the Department of Electrical Engineering, teaching ENGR 40M. In 2019, Avoy worked as an ML research intern at UnifyID, where they implemented neural networks for biometric authentication using human walk cycles and made optimizations to reduce model training time. They also worked as an AI research fellow at UnifyID, achieving state-of-the-art results in user authentication using walk cycle data. In 2020, Avoy served as a research assistant at the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and as an AI & ML summer analyst at J.P. Morgan. They also worked as a course assistant for CS230 (Deep Learning) at Stanford University. In 2021, Avoy joined Twitter as a machine learning engineer and later became a machine learning engineer II. Currently, Avoy works as a machine learning engineer at EliseAI, starting in 2022.

Avoy Datta completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Math at Stanford University from 2016 to 2020. Following this, Avoy pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Optimization and Signal Processing at Stanford University from 2019 to 2021.
