Paul Pinet

Paul Pinet is the current Director of Growth at Elite Detroit. Prior to that, they were a Project Team Member at Resurge Detroit from June 2016 to June 2017, where they led crowdfunding efforts of the first project called Liberty Harvest and co-led fundraising efforts on social media that raised $65,000 to retrofit a shipping crate into a self-sustainable grow house for youth and veterans. Before that, they were an Interpreter and GPS Tester at Bromberg & Associates from July 2015 to April 2017. Paul's responsibilities there included taking video calls through a computer to interpret patient calls from healthcare providers across the country (mostly San Antonio and Los Angeles) that needed Spanish medical interpretation, working with VRI (Video Remote Interpretation) software to help communicate with other interpreters, establishing communication skills with interpretation team members to schedule calls throughout the day and night as the service is 24/7, using Excel frequently and having background information of webcam uses, and testing voice recognition systems in Spanish in Ford vehicles. Prior to that, they were a Membership Associate at Planet Fitness Headquarters (Newington, NH) from October 2014 to June 2015.

Paul Pinet has a degree in International Relations/Political Science from Oakland University. Paul also has certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT).
