James Burgess

James Burgess has extensive work experience in the technology and project management fields. James currently holds the position of CIO at Green Dome Investments and Elite Co. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Shipa Freight, where they successfully implemented various initiatives such as strict recruiting standards, architecture modernization, and CI/CD integration.

Before joining Shipa Freight, James worked at Agility as a Senior Project Manager, leading transformation projects from 2014 to 2018. James also gained experience as a Web Developer in multiple web startups in 2013. Additionally, they held various project management roles at Agility from 2004 to 2012, starting as a Project Management Intern and progressing to the position of Senior Project Manager.

James Burgess has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Organizational Behavior and Blue Ocean Strategy from INSEAD, which they obtained from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics from the University of Florida, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.
