Alyssa Risi Dtcm

Alyssa Risi DTCM, L.Ac is an accomplished Licensed Acupuncturist with a diverse background in Traditional Chinese Medicine and physical therapy. Currently practicing at Elite Sports Physical Therapy since December 2020, Alyssa employs acupuncture, trigger point/dry needling, and TCM modalities for various pain and wellness issues. Previous roles include providing acupuncture at COAST Rehab and Champion Health Chiropractic, where treatments complemented chiropractic care. Alyssa's early experience as a Clinical Director at Acupuncture Health Services and a Physical Therapy Aide at Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy solidified a foundation in patient care, office management, and rehabilitation protocols. Alyssa holds a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches Institute, a Master’s Degree from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor from Mount Saint Mary College.
