Priyanka Ray has worked for five companies since 2007. In 2007, they were a Summer Intern at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. In 2008, they were a Summer Intern at LGIT, Universit\u00e9 Joseph Fourier where they conducted synthesis and characterization of various bio-organic compounds using NMR, MS and FTIR. In 2013, they were an Intern at IPICyT where they did computational modeling of calixarenes in different solvent systems. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at North Dakota State University where they synthesized small organic compounds used as monomers for ROP for designing novel biocompatible pH responsive polymers as well as drug and dye conjugates for targeted delivery of therapeutics for pancreatic and breast cancer. Priyanka also designed multiple drug delivery systems and conducted extensive characterization. Currently, they are a Scientist at Elixirgen Therapeutics, Inc.
Priyanka Ray has an educational background in nanotechnology and chemistry. Priyanka obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Nanotechnology from CNRS and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemistry from Universit\u00e9 Paris-Saclay between 2010 and 2014. Additionally, they obtained an Integrated Masters in Industrial Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Ray is also a member of the American Association of Cancer Research, the American Chemical Society, the Royal Society of Chemistry, and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS).
