Takamitsu Fujiu

Takamitsu Fujiu has over 40 years of experience in the legal and engineering fields. Takamitsu began their career in 1979 at Nikon, where they worked as an Engineer, Manager, and Assistant General Manager. During this time, they were listed as an inventor in 13 U.S. Patents and an author of more than ten peer-reviewed technical publications. In 2001, they joined Morrison & Foerster LLP as an Associate and Patent Agent. After becoming a Partner in 2013, they will be joining Elixirgen Therapeutics, Inc. as General Counsel in 2022.

Takamitsu Fujiu obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The Catholic University of America, their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Sciences from Penn State University, and their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from The University of Tokyo.
