Three words. One mission. At the Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver (EFry), we believe everyone can become a contributing member of society.

We help criminalized and at-risk women, girls and children achieve their potential through:
• Drop-in centres & homeless shelters for women & children
• Detox & supportive addictions recovery
• In-prison programs
• Counselling
• Help accessing housing & social assistance
• Job training & employment
• Parenting support
• JustKids suite of programs for children with incarcerated parents.

Much of the help we provide is made possible thanks to donations. EFry’s gender-responsive programs work because they are designed to address the four sisters of trauma and violence – addiction, mental illness, homelessness and incarceration. We help women take control of their physical and mental health
and build brighter futures for themselves and their children.

The Clinical Support Team at the Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver focuses on providing therapeutic and clinical services to women, girls, and children facing trauma and adversity. This team offers individualized counseling, crisis intervention, and housing support, working collaboratively to improve mental health and well-being. By addressing the unique challenges faced by their clients, they empower individuals to navigate their recovery journey and achieve sustainable lifestyles.
