Duke Mobegi is an experienced public health professional currently serving as Associate Director of External Technical Assistance at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation since 2021, leading the External Technical Assistance unit and contributing to the design of the organization's approach to technical assistance. Previously, Duke held various roles at AMREF from 2007 to 2020, including Regional Project Manager, where oversight of program projects, finance, and performance was a key responsibility. Earlier positions included Project Manager and Project Technical Advisor, focusing on project delivery and health evaluations in Kenya. Duke's career also encompasses experience as a Surveillance Officer at CDC Kenya and as a Field Officer and Clinician Intern in earlier roles. Duke holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health from Jomo Kenyatta University, a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Moi University, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Nairobi, and training in Clinical Medicine and Surgery.
