Salamatu Jah

Salamatu Jah is a seasoned finance and accounting professional with extensive experience in international development and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Finance and Accounting Country Support at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation since December 2014, Salamatu supervises finance teams across Mozambique, Malawi, and Zimbabwe, providing guidance on budgeting and financial management. Previous roles include Internal Auditor at Fintrac Inc., and Field Accounting and Compliance Manager at Chemonics International Inc., where Salamatu managed substantial USAID project portfolios. With a Master's degree in Business, Accounting, and Internal Audit from the University of Maryland, along with relevant education from Fourah Bay College and the University of Oslo, Salamatu has a solid foundation in financial management and compliance, complemented by significant leadership experience in implementing financial processes and training finance staff within various organizations.
