Virginia Burger

Virginia Burger has a robust background in public health and research operations, currently serving as Manager of Research Operations at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation since January 2019, where previous roles included Senior Country Officer and Country Officer for the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Prior experience includes working as a Business Development and Communications Associate at Maternal & Infant Health Consulting, a Research Associate at MEASURE Evaluation, and a Graduate Research Assistant at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Additionally, Virginia Burger held positions as Project Coordinator and Finance Assistant with John Snow, Inc. (JSI), and served in the Peace Corps as National Malaria Program Coordinator and Health Education Volunteer. Virginia Burger holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in French & Francophone Studies from Barnard College.
