Samantha Hicks is an experienced professional in learning and development, currently serving as the Learning and Development Lead at Elizabeth Morgan House since January 2025. Previously, Samantha held the role of Head of Learning and Capability at Baptcare from January 2020 to July 2024, along with a position as Senior Advisor for Leadership and Manager Development at the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions between November 2018 and December 2019. Samantha's extensive background includes over a decade at ANZSOG, where roles included Manager of Programs and various marketing positions. Earlier career experiences also encompass roles as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor at the Accredited Training Institute and Education and Marketing Officer at the Australian College of Pharmacy Practice & Management. Samantha holds a Master's degree in Business (Marketing) from RMIT University, completed in 2008.

Culturally safe, holistic family violence services for Aboriginal women We provide secure refuge accommodation and specialist family violence services to Aboriginal women and their children. Our support also extends to parents of Aboriginal children, as well as partners and ex-partners of Aboriginal people. Elizabeth Morgan House Aboriginal Women’s Service Inc is the peak body for Aboriginal Women and Children in Victoria. We are proudly an Aboriginal community controlled organisation.
