David Bowne is a seasoned academic and researcher in the field of biology with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as a Professor and Associate Professor of Biology at Elizabethtown College since 2008, David has previously held the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology at Franklin and Marshall College from 2005 to 2008. David was also a Founding Member of the Ecological Research as Education Network (EREN) from 2009 to February 2021. David's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia, an M.S. in Conservation Ecology and Sustainable Development from The University of Georgia, and a B.S. in Natural Resource Management from Rutgers University.
