Gary Hoffman is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in the field of chemistry. Currently serving as Professor Emeritus at Elizabethtown College, Gary has held various roles including Professor, A. C. Baugher Professor of Chemistry, and Chair of the Chemistry Department since joining the institution in August 2002. Prior to Elizabethtown, Gary was a Visiting Research Faculty at Tulane University for a year, and from August 1990 to July 2002, held the position of Associate Professor and Chair at Florida International University. Earlier in Gary's career, experience included a postdoctoral fellowship at Los Alamos National Laboratory from 1987 to 1990. Gary's academic qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Physics from Harvard University and an AB in Chemistry from Williams College.
