Kurt DeGoede has an extensive academic and professional background in engineering and education. Currently a Professor at Elizabethtown College since 2000, Kurt also served as a Visiting Professor at the University of the Gambia from 2010 to 2011. Prior to their academic career, Kurt worked as a Project Manager on the End of Line Diagnostics Project at Ford Motor Company from June 1993 to August 1996. Kurt holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan (1996-2000), a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University (1991-1993), and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering-Physics from Hope College (1987-1991).
