Sharon K Birch

Sharon Birch is an experienced educational professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Teaching and Learning Design Studio and Instructional Technologist at Elizabethtown College since January 2021. Prior to this role, Sharon held positions at Gettysburg College from August 2000 to January 2021, where responsibilities included Instructional Technologist and Director of Instructional Technology. Earlier in Sharon's career, employment occurred at the US Census Bureau as a Survey Statistician from 1998 to 2000. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Art from Southwestern University and both a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in Sociology from Bowling Green State University.
