Mayah B.

Mayah B. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mayah started their career as a Kumon Assistant in 2004, where they helped children improve their math and reading skills. During this time, they gained valuable insights into business operations. From 2010 to 2016, Mayah worked at Chipotle Mexican Grill as a Crew Member and at The Company Theatre as a Teen Technical Apprentice Program participant and Assistant Stage Manager. In 2011, they interned at Pearson Education/Alleyoop, gaining experience in customer development and marketing. Mayah also interned as a Marketing Intern at 30 Hands Learning in 2012 and as a Marketing, Events, and Fundraising Intern at Porte Parole in 2013. In 2012, they served as an Academic and Office Coordinator/ESL Teacher at EF Education First. Mayah worked at Milton Academy from 2013 to 2016, taking on roles such as Development Staff Assistant and K-8 Substitute Teacher. In 2016, they joined Ellevation Education as a Partner Development Associate, later transitioning into the role of Partner Development Manager in 2017. Mayah then became the Sales Professional Development Lead in 2020, where they focused on creating training programs for sales representatives. As of 2020, Mayah is the Sales Manager at Ellevation Education, responsible for managing, coaching, and mentoring the Partner Development Associates.

Mayah B. started their education journey in 2005 at Notre Dame Academy, where they completed their high school education until 2009. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2014, they attended Concordia University, earning a BA/BFA degree in Theatre and English. In 2012, Mayah obtained a Polish Language Certificate from Szkola Jezyka Polskiego I Kultury dla Cudzoziemcow. In 2013, they pursued an Oxford TESL Course, leading to an Oxford TESL Certificate with a specialization in ESL.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Mayah joined Harvard Extension School in 2015 and is expected to complete their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in 2022.

Moreover, they enhanced their skill set by obtaining the Connect for Developing Leaders - Leadership Training certification from Eager Labs in February 2021.
