Pamela Burgreen

Senior Instructional Content Manager at Ellevation Education

Pamela Burgreen has a strong background in the field of mathematics education. Pamela began their career as a math teacher at Amityville Memorial High School, where they taught various math courses and led departmental professional developments. Following this, Pamela worked as a math teacher at the NYC Department of Education, where they taught multiple math subjects and was responsible for curriculum development. Pamela then served as a math professor at Nassau Community College, teaching developmental algebra and college algebra and trigonometry, while also providing tutoring services at the college's Math Center. Pamela later transitioned to a role as a math editor at Scholastic, where they authored and edited mathematical content for grades 6 to 11. Afterward, they worked at The College Board as a math editor, contributing to the organization's math materials. Pamela then joined Houghton Mifflin Harcourt as a senior learning architect, where they continued to apply their expertise in math education. Currently, they serve as a mathematics content manager at Ellevation Education, utilizing their experience to manage and develop mathematics content.

Pamela Burgreen holds a Bachelor's degree in English Education from the University of Delaware. In 2007 to 2008, they pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics at Stony Brook University. Additionally, Pamela has obtained the New York State Permanent Certification 7 - 12 Mathematics.
