Duncan McTaggart

Director Of Applications Engineering at Ellicott Dredges

Duncan McTaggart has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Duncan started their career at Russell-William, LTD. in 1982, where they held the position of Engineering Manager. During their time there, they managed multiple departments and business functions, led numerous projects, and worked as a Mechanical Engineer and Machine Programmer on various tasks. In 2007, they joined Ellicott Dredges as the Engineering Manager of Major Projects, specializing in the sales, design, manufacturing, and financial management of custom dredges. Most recently, they served as the Director of Applications Engineering, overseeing the technical aspects of dredging technologies and their adaptation to various applications.

Duncan McTaggart obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from the University of Maryland from 1987 to 1990. Duncan also holds additional certifications in Cost Estimation from ESI International in January 2010, in International Contracts from ESI International in January 2008, and in Lean Manufacturing from Maryland World Class Consortia in January 2004.
