Tiffany Brandt currently serves as the Manager of Microbiology at Ellie Diagnostics since January 2023. Previously, Tiffany worked at the University of Louisville from August 2016 to December 2022 as a Doctoral Researcher in Dr. Deborah Yoder-Himes’ lab, focusing on the biochemical interactions between bacterial species in individuals with Cystic Fibrosis. Tiffany has also held positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, demonstrating strong communication skills while teaching over 1000 students, and as an Assistant Research Scientist, managing multiple projects that involved data collection and analysis. Early career experience includes tutoring in medical ethics and terminology at Western Kentucky University and contributing to journalism in various capacities for the university's newspaper and yearbook. Tiffany holds a PhD in Molecular Biology, a Master's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, all from the University of Louisville.
