Ellies Holdings Limited is a holding and investment company. The Company is a manufacturer, wholesaler, importer and distributor in various sectors servicing the local and African markets. It operates through two segments. The Consumer segment is engaged in manufacture, import and distribution of television and video equipment-related products under the Ellies brand, and satellite and associated equipment under the Elsat brand. Ellies Commercial Solutions and Elsat Rentals divisions deal with commercial lighting, industrial audio, satellite and television distribution systems. Ellies Renewable Energy division focuses on thermal, electric and other solutions through alternative energy products. The Infrastructure segment is engaged in manufacture of products for power generation for distribution and transmission; design and installation of energy efficiency programs; design and construction of water and waste water treatment plants, and design and installation of cellphone towers.
