Scott Wambolt

Scott Wambolt, DO, is an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician currently serving at Elliot Hospital since July 2024 and in the United States Air Force since August 2013, where involvement includes the Critical Care Air Transport Team. Scott has held various ranks and roles, including Major and Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, and Captain in the Medical Corps. Previous experience includes emergency medicine positions at MatSu Regional Medical Center and Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation. Scott completed residency training as Chief Resident at Brooke Army Medical Center and holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University California, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Science from Wheaton College. Recognition includes the Air Force Commendation Medal in 2020 and being honored as an Outstanding Senior Resident Clinician in 2020.
