Bess Hawker

Bess Hawker has worked at Elliott Investment Management L.P. since 2023 as a Principal in Portfolio Talent. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2023, they worked at Heidrick & Struggles in various roles including Principal and Engagement Manager in Global CEO & Board and Industrial Practices. Bess'sresponsibilities at Heidrick & Struggles included general management positions, executive search, talent management, M&A effectiveness, culture shaping, and board building. Bess also had engagements with high-growth D2C companies and conducted CEO and Board of Director searches for public and private companies.

Bess Hawker attended Seymour College in Adelaide from 2004 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) at The Australian National University from 2010 to 2015.
