Daniel Munroe is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in sports data analytics and engineering. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Engineering at Ellipse Data, Daniel leads a team focused on the collection, storage, manipulation, and delivery of sports data. Previously, in roles such as VP of Sports Data Analytics and Engineering at Stats Perform and Perform, Daniel established and maintained data engineering functions to enhance sports data analysis. Daniel's career began at Opta Sports, where responsibilities spanned from software engineering to leading the design and implementation of advanced backend systems. Daniel holds an MSc in Software Design and Development from the University of Galway, a BEng in Digital and Software Systems Design, and a Diploma in Electronic Engineering from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.
