Martin Ferenczi has over 40 years of experience in the payments, authentication, and identity spaces. Martin began their career in 1977 as a Managing Director-Vice President-Second Vice President-Assistant Treasurer at JP Morgan Chase (formerly The Chase Manhattan Bank NA). In 1990, they became the CEO & President of Banknote Corporation of America Inc. In 2005, they became the Chief Financial Officer of Francois Charles Oberthur Fiduciaire. From 2007 to 2018, they held various roles at Oberthur Technologies (now IDEMIA), including CEO & President North America & Special Advisor to CEO for Morpho Integration, CEO & President North America & Managing Director Financial Institutions North America, and CEO, President & Managing Director Americas. In 2018, they joined ellipse Inc. as the Strategic Relationships. Since 2017, they have been the Principal at Martin Ferenczi LLC, advising PE firms, start-ups, and established companies in the Payments, Authentication, and Identity spaces. Martin's start-up clients include 1Kosmos – BlockID, an identity vault solution on the blockchain; DSS, owner of the SafetyNet award winning platform for enhanced due diligence cognitive search and crime prevention (AML/KYC); and Ellipse, a dynamic CVV card solution focusing on eliminating CNP fraud. Martin is also an independent contractor to Oliver Wyman, a leading global management consulting firm.

Martin Ferenczi received their Commercial Engineering degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management (Brussels University) between 1972 and 1977. Martin then went on to pursue a PMD 55 in Business Administration and Management, General at Harvard Business School, which they are still attending.
