Pieter de Vries

Pieter de Vries is a highly experienced technology professional, currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at Ellipsend since August 2024, where Pieter leads the development and design of the app while handling business tasks like investor relations. Prior to this, Pieter was a Senior Backend Engineer/Lead at Adlumin from December 2021 to August 2024, overseeing 70 integrations with various cybersecurity software and managing large-scale data ingestion systems. Pieter's previous roles include Lead Software Engineer at Southern Oregon Practice Management, where Pieter architected Electronic Health Record systems, and Lead PHP Developer at Software for Sapiens, where Pieter developed e-commerce software and implemented Docker for software testing. With earlier experience as an Electronic Data Interchange Developer at AllCare Health and as a Software Engineer at Sharefaith and Rogue Valley Sash & Door, Pieter has consistently focused on improving system performance and client satisfaction throughout a robust career in software development. Pieter holds an Associate’s Degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Friesland College and a high school diploma from Canyonville Christian Academy.
