Øystein Grimstad

Øystein Grimstad has over 18 years of work experience. Øystein is currently working as the VP of Product Management at Elliptic Labs since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Huddly from 2016 to 2023, where they held various roles including VP of Products and VP of Collaboration Services. At Huddly, they were responsible for product management, go-to-market strategies, and supporting the internal sales organization. Øystein also developed and maintained product roadmaps and worked closely with strategic partners. Before joining Huddly, Øystein worked at Kubicam as the VP of Collaboration Services for a short period in 2016. Øystein was responsible for software development and worked closely with sales and strategic partners. In 2015, Øystein served as the Tech Lead and CTO at Seevia AS, where they redesigned the infrastructure and scaled it to support a large number of users. Øystein started their career at Cisco Systems in 2005 and held various positions, including Software Development Manager, Senior Software Engineer, and Senior Developer & Architect. Øystein was involved in defining architecture and managing software teams. In 2003, Øystein worked as a summer intern at Agresso AS.

Øystein Grimstad pursued their education in the field of Information & communication technology at the University of Agder (UiA), where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree. This academic journey took place from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Oslo and Akershus University College between 2000 and 2003.
