Stein Gausereide

Stein Gausereide has a diverse and extensive work experience. Stein started their career as the Founder and CEO of Gausst Inc in 2006, where they managed a virtual green screen mixed reality VFX studio in Los Angeles. Stein also served as a general manager, sales and project manager, and operator for clients including Blue Men Group, ABC Good Morning America, and the feature film "Green Zone".

After that, they worked as a Regional Sales Manager for Vizrt, starting their Los Angeles office and focusing on sales to television stations and film productions. During this time, they were responsible for significant new signings, including customers like KABC, KCBS, and DirecTV. Stein also co-started Vizrt's successful London business and served as a Project Manager, originating sales and managing installations for clients such as ITN and B Sky B. Stein also initiated the development of Viz|Fx, a software solution for the motion picture industry.

Stein later joined Elliptic Labs in 2015 as a Project Manager, where they initiated internal project management tools and managed projects with customers and partners. Stein presented Elliptic Labs' technology to customers in Asia and coordinated the needs of on-site FAEs and the team in Oslo.

Stein then worked as a Project Manager at TV 2, where they managed subprojects for playout, branding, and promo production as part of the GPO - Greenfield Playout Project. Stein focused on cross-project communication, visualizing dependencies, and coordinating the needs of teams, vendors, and customers.

In 2017, Stein became a Solution Architect at Mediability, where they managed customer projects and set up Expo Room, Atrium, and Auditorium at Media City Bergen for Vizrt. Stein also worked as a Freelancer for Vizrt from 2011 to 2013.

Stein was also involved in founding and working for other companies. Stein co-founded Smartbloc by Envion Group AS and worked as a Co-Founder and Sales & Marketing in 2021-2022. Stein also founded uMe Group AS in 2010, a patented interactive VFX/XR and ad solution for the online video and video advertising market.

Currently, Stein is working at Elliptic Labs as the Director of Operations, responsible for targeting smartphone, laptop, IoT, and automotive markets. Stein is leading the development and deployment of the company's patented software that uses AI, ultrasound, and sensor fusion to deliver intuitive 3D gesture, proximity, presence, breathing, and heartbeat-detection experiences.

Stein Gausereide's education history begins in 1991 when they attended Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. Stein completed a Grunnfag degree in the field of Samfunnsfag/Social Science & History in 1992. In the following year, they enrolled at NLA University College and pursued Grunnfag Pedagogikk/Pedagogy Studies, completing the program in 1993.

From 1993 to 1994, Stein Gausereide participated in a Coop-Program with Academy of Art University through the University of San Francisco, majoring in Advertising Design. Stein then enrolled at Academy of Art University in 1994 and obtained a BFA in Computer Arts, specializing in Visual Effects, 3D modeling, and animation.

In 2010, Stein Gausereide attended Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) to complete an Extended Education Course in Project Management.

More recently, in 2019, Stein Gausereide pursued further education by obtaining a Certificate in Sports Facility Management with a focus on International Business at Barça Innovation Hub - Universitas. Additionally, during the same year, they acquired an Erickson Coach certification from Erickson Coaching International, specializing in Coaching.
