Svein-Egil Nielsen

Svein-Egil Nielsen is an accomplished technology executive and board member with extensive experience in leadership roles within the semiconductor and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member for BeammWave and Elliptic Labs, and Chairman of the Board at NOVELDA, Svein-Egil previously held the positions of Chief Technology Officer and EVP R&D at Nordic Semiconductor ASA from January 2011 to March 2024, overseeing a substantial R&D department. Svein-Egil's experience also includes significant roles at the Bluetooth SIG, where leadership as Chairman of the Board and Director of Emerging Technologies and Strategic Partnerships was demonstrated, as well as consultancy at The Boston Consulting Group. Svein-Egil holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BEng in Computer and Electronics Systems from the University of Strathclyde.
