Ellis Porter
Mike is a Senior Attorney and Director of our PERM Team, where he oversees the development and implementation of PERM labor certification application strategies for Ellis Porter’s Automotive Team, Healthcare Team and Technology Team clients. Mike also works with employers to help them streamline their internal PERM processes and respond to PERM audits.
Clients appreciate Mike's knack for explaining complicated PERM legal issues in simple terms and his ability to manage the entire PERM process with remarkable efficiency.
Mike also has in-depth experience handling immigration issues in university and medical settings based on his seven years of experience handling immigration matters for the University of Michigan Medical School and International Center.
Mike is a longtime Westsider and he works primarily out of Ellis Porter's Ann Arbor office. Mike comes from a big family (he has 10 siblings!), and when he is not attending some family member's birthday party, he enjoys following University of Michigan sports and the Detroit Tigers.
