Sowmiya Rajakopalu

Sowmiya Rajakopalu, MRICS, MAIQS, CQS, currently serves as Commercial Contract Manager and previously as Senior Cost Manager at EllisDon since March 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Cost Manager at Currie & Brown from October 2016 to March 2022, Quantity Surveyor at Nabih Elias Azzam & Partners (NEA) from August 2015 to October 2016, and several Quantity Surveyor positions at Design Enviro Tech Consultants, Vibrant International LLC, and Eco Power Group between 2011 and 2015. Sowmiya is pursuing a Master's degree in Construction Law and Practice at The University of Salford (September 2023 - July 2025) and holds a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Moratuwa (March 2007 - July 2011) along with a Diploma of Education in Project Management from London Business School, Sri Lanka.
