Owen Sakawa is the CEO and founder of Elloe AI. At Elloe, he is leading the efforts of transforming the AI space by leveraging state-of-the-art technologies in order to deliver Self-Discovering, Self-Training, and Self-Optimizing products. Under his leadership, Elloe is democratizing Conversational AI and related ecosystems through automation.
He is a highly technical and experienced technology entrepreneur with a passion for continuous improvement that pervades every aspect of his life. He is passionate about bringing disruptive solutions to the market with a 20 years record of building and leading transformation across a variety of sectors in organizations.
In 2019, Owen founded RepairNet, an AI-powered mobility platform on a mission to leverage technology to build the most convenient and trusted car repair service. The mobile model and cloud-based platform replace shops’ physical infrastructure – allowing consumers save time, money and get quality services, at the same time attract top-tier mechanics.
At 14 years, he pioneered a new way to verify documents online through a visual digital stamp when he founded DigiPass. He successfully globalized DigiPass into Africa's leading document verification company.
He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council and a mentor at Microsoft for Startups and Techstars. He was named as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the CEO Weekly Magazine, and Entrepreneur of The year by Entrepreneur Magazine among many similar honors.
Owen has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mathematics & Computer Science from the Kenya Methodist University and a Masters in Philosophy in Machine Learning & Machine Intelligence from the University of Cambridge.
