Carie Ann Potenza, Ed.D. is a seasoned leader in higher education with extensive experience in strategic planning, organizational development, and technology-enhanced learning. Currently serving as Senior Director of Strategy and Planning at Ellucian since September 2012, Carie Ann drives transformational initiatives to enhance customer success and operational efficiency in colleges and universities. Previous roles at Ellucian include Senior Director of Academic, Grant and Strategic Services and Director of Academic and Grant Services, where Carie Ann managed teams focused on innovation and student success. Prior to Ellucian, Carie Ann held the position of Vice President of Academic Affairs at Rasmussen College, overseeing academic curriculum delivery, and served as School Director for the School of Justice Studies. Early career experience includes work as a Juvenile Justice Researcher at the Arizona Supreme Court. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and advanced degrees in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University and the University at Albany.
