Martin Aponte

Martin Aponte is a seasoned DevOps professional with extensive experience in cloud-native infrastructure and software development. Currently serving as a DevOps Technical Lead at Ellucian since August 2022, Martin focuses on automating infrastructure and enhancing delivery velocity across AWS and Azure for over 2,900 educational institutions. Previously, as a DevOps Architect for the City of Austin, Martin oversaw large-scale software upgrades impacting numerous departments and citizens. Martin's background includes a role as Lead Software Engineer at Cocolevio LLC, where proficiency in containerization and agile methodologies was demonstrated, and as a Senior NetOps Engineer at Charter Communications, responsible for maintaining essential network operations for millions of customers. Additionally, Martin has provided consultancy services as a Software Architect Technical Lead. Martin holds a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University and a Bachelor’s degree in E-Business from Ashworth College.
