Mike Pennella

Mike Pennella is a Senior Learning Experience Designer at Ellucian since November 2016, where expertise in project management, learning experience design, and educational technology has led to consistently high student satisfaction in course evaluations. Prior to this role, Mike served as a Learning Architect at iDesignEDU, re-designing award-winning courses and authoring essential resources for faculty during the Covid-19 transition to hybrid instruction. Earlier experiences include positions at Lafayette College and Boise State University that centered on digital media and educational technology, as well as a successful tenure at Hudson River Group as Senior Vice President, where Mike secured significant new business. Mike began his career as a Copywriter at Foote Cone Belding, producing advertising for prominent clients. Educational achievements include a Master's Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Boise State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Virginia.
