Venugopal Kathavate

Venugopal Kathavate has worked in the software development field for over 14 years. Venugopal started their career at IBM Rational in 2006 as a System Software Engineer, where they worked until 2010. Venugopal then joined Ellucian in 2010 and held multiple roles within the company. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Specialist - Product Development (Senior UX Developer), responsible for all UI related work using cutting edge UI technologies. From 2014 to 2018, they served as a Technical Lead - Cloud Platform UX, designing and implementing flexible UI systems and creating POCs for feasibility studies. Since 2018, they have been serving as a Principal Software Developer at Ellucian.

Venugopal Kathavate pursued a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Science from Basaveshwara Engineering College, Bagalkot and Visvesvaraya Technological University from 2001 to 2004. In addition, they obtained certifications in CSS Animation and CSS Transforms and Transitions from LinkedIn in 2020.
