Tris Lahey

Tris Lahey is a Senior Principal Software Engineer at OpenPhone since February 2024, previously serving as a Principal Software Engineer where leadership included the migration to Terraform and Helm for Infrastructure as Code and the creation of an in-house workflow engine using Temporal. At Travelers from February 2022 to September 2023, Tris architected and developed the Embedded Insurance Platform and transitioned the rental insurance platform to a mono-repo development model. With over a decade at Trōv, notable contributions included leading the development of multiple insurance platforms across various markets and constructing client and server architectures. Earlier roles involved freelancing at Facet, designing a GraphQL API and cloud migration, as well as software engineering positions at Microsoft focused on Bing Entertainment projects and the Leibniz Entity Resolution framework. Tris holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Software from The University of Queensland.
