Bill Bennett

Bill Bennett, MBA, is an experienced metallurgist with a strong background in open die forging, heat treatment, and mechanical testing of carbon, alloy steels, and specialty materials in the custom forging industry. Currently serving as a Metallurgist at ELLWOOD National Forge since January 2019, Bill also holds the position of Chair for the NWPA Chapter at ASM since 2014. Prior roles include Metallurgical Engineer at Corry Forge Company, Metallurgist/Quality Engineer/Plant Supervisor at Associated Spring, Metallurgist/Lab Supervisor at ATI Allegheny Ludlum, and Process Metallurgist at Universal Stainless. Bill Bennett earned an MBA from Gannon University and a BS in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Additional training includes Lean Advocate Training from Barnes University.
