Gregory van der Watt

Gregory van der Watt has a strong background in finance and has worked in both the private and non-profit sectors. Gregory began their career as a Trainee at Deloitte in 2007 and worked there until 2009. In 2010, they joined The ELMA Philanthropies as a Finance Manager and later became the Director of Finance in 2013. In these roles, Gregory was responsible for grant and investment due diligence, structuring, and monitoring, as well as operational finances.

Gregory van der Watt attended the University of Cape Town from 2002 to 2006, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting. Gregory'sfield of study focused on finance and accounting. Additionally, in September 2018, they obtained a certification in the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme from The University of Oxford Saïd Business School.
