Nebiyu Negussu

Nebiyu Negussu is a seasoned professional specializing in neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Program Officer at The ELMA Philanthropies since March 2023, Nebiyu previously held positions at the same organization focused on global NTDs. Experience at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Children's Investment Fund Foundation highlights expertise in managing NTD programs in Africa. Nebiyu's career also includes significant roles in Ethiopia’s Federal Ministry of Health, ranging from Team Leader of NTD programs to Deputy Director, emphasizing leadership in public health initiatives. Education includes ongoing studies at Jimma University since 2007.
