Eric Mahan

Eric Mahan is a seasoned zookeeper with a Bachelor's Degree in Zoo Science from Delaware Valley University, graduated in 2014. Since September 2014, Eric has been serving as a full-time zookeeper at Elmwood Park Zoo, where responsibilities include the care of a diverse collection of animals and roles such as Browse coordinator and trainer for various species. Prior experience includes seasonal roles at Elmwood Park Zoo, including Reindeer Keeper and educator positions, as well as working as a Bird Trainer/Educator for an interactive aviary. Eric's previous leadership experience as Nature Director for the Pennsylvania Dutch Council highlights management skills and commitment to wildlife education.
