Matt DiLeo

Matt DiLeo has a strong background in scientific operations and product development. Matt is currently serving as the Vice President of Product Development at Elo Life Systems since August 2022. Before that, they worked as the Director of Scientific Operations at Elo Life Systems from January 2022 to August 2022. Prior to joining Elo Life Systems, Matt was the Director of Scientific Operations at Precision BioSciences, Inc. from February 2018 to December 2021. Matt also held the position of Department Manager of Application Development at Novozymes from July 2014 to January 2018. Earlier in their career, Matt worked as a Team Leader and Scientist at KeyGene from October 2013 to June 2014 and from September 2010 to June 2014, respectively. Matt started their career as a Postdoc at Boyce Thompson Institute from October 2008 to September 2010. Matt DiLeo's educational background includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis from August 2003 to September 2008.

Matt DiLeo completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology at Ursinus College. Matt then went on to pursue their Ph.D. in Plant Pathology at the University of California, Davis, which they successfully completed in 2008.
