Previously, Johannes held various leadership roles at Sysmex Inostics from April 2013 to April 2025, including Head of Function and Director of Research and Development, where responsibilities included overseeing three R&D departments and supporting the CEO in decision-making and strategy planning. Johannes has extensive experience in developing IVD kits, leading assay development for various cancers, and managing cross-functional teams. Educational credentials include a PhD in Biology from the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center and a Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology from Heidelberg University.
