Baptiste Calmette is an experienced engineering professional specializing in renewable energy technologies. Currently serving as Lead Process Engineer at Elogen since October 2016, Baptiste focuses on techno-economic optimization of PEM electrolysers. In addition, involvement with Time for the Planet as an Associate began in September 2021. Previous experiences include a research position at Cranfield University, where work centered on wave energy converter hydrodynamics, and an industrial internship at AREVA H2Gen, conducting a techno-economic study on high power rectifiers. Early contributions to Humanisol as Treasurer/Webmaster involved financial management and renewable energy project initiatives. Baptiste holds advanced degrees in Offshore and Ocean Technology, Energy Systems Optimisation, and Renewable Energy, complemented by a strong educational foundation in physics.
