Catherine Porter

Catherine Porter has over 20 years of experience in the food industry. Catherine began their career in 1997 as an Assistant Marketing Manager for Schulze and Burch Biscuit Co. Catherine then moved to American Licorice Company in 1999 as an Associate Marketing Manager. In 2002, they became a Marketing Manager for Maple Leaf Foods Inc. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Customer Marketing Manager for McCain Foods. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Director of Foodservice Marketing & Commercialization for Grecian Delight Foods, where they were responsible for corporate & food service marketing, commercialization, and convenience store/vending sales. From 2019 to present, they have held various roles at Elohi Strategic Advisors, including Chief Marketing Officer, Senior Vice President Marketing, and Marketing Advisor. Catherine also works as a Marketing Consultant for CP Marketing Services, where they are an industry expert for insights-based go-to-market strategy and knowledge of the foodservice industry and consumer trends. Catherine has previously spoken at NACS, been a member of the IFMA committee, and written bylines for FSR and Convenience Store News magazines.

Catherine Porter attended DePaul Driehaus College of Business, where they obtained an MBA in International Business. Catherine also attended DePaul University, where they earned a B.S. in Marketing and Finance. Additionally, they obtained a Hootsuite Platform Certification from Hootsuite Academy in July 2019.
